When we mention about Safari, all of us thought there would be animals everywhere but the real Safari is different with what we saw on the TV. In the wild, nothing can be predicted and it is all about luck but of course certain animals are easier to spot compared to the Big 5 of Africa.
This is a lonely male impala drinking water at one of the waterholes. Impala is actually everywhere in the bush.
A very shy Zebra. We only managed to spot 3 in the bush. They are very good in camouflaging.
A heard of water beast. They actually look very ugly to me.
This hornbill doesn't afraid of me at all but to my friends. I was sitting there and it came to me just like that. Isn't it wonderful?
One of my favourite shots. This is really totally different from what we have seen in zoo.
Look at how huge it is. Giraffe is still my best favourite animal in Safari.
A herd of Impalas came to the waterhole for some afternoon drinks while I was sitting in the lodge having my afternoon Hi-Tea.
Ever seen a herd of elephants playing in the water? Of course not those from zoo that forced by human to perform to humans.
I mean a herd means a huge herd of elephants. The experience is priceless.
I spotted this Huge guy while most of my friends were either sleeping or resting. I remembered I was like a monkey ran everywhere to inform everybody yet can't make a noise or a big movement.
Juvenile Giraffe was posing for me. What a wonderful shot.
Haa! On the last day we managed to find the lions and a huge surprise, they were actually close to where we stay while all of us woke up early in the morning and drove to further area to search for them.
A pride of lions and they are walking toward our vehicle. Did I mention that our Land Rover is uncovered and I was sitting the nearest to them. At that moment my legs were shaking when they are just a meter away from me but I took a video of them. Proud of myself.
After the lions, I have no more mood to see other type of animals but this bird caught my attention. Love the long tail feathers. Did some research and realised they only have such long tail during breeding season.
Kudu males. Finally found it on the last day of the trip. All of them are saying good bye to me.
Took this picture before I leave this beautiful paradise and I swear to myself that I am definitely going back.
